The Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan–“OJK”) has issued Regulation No. 49/POJK.04/2016 on Investor-Protection Funds(“Regulation 49/2016”)in a bid to offer greater certainty as regards the management of investor-protection funds due to a change in regulatory and supervisory authority within the capital-market sector from the Capital Market and Financial Institutions Supervisory Board (Badan Pengawas Pasar Modal dan Lembaga Keuangan) to the OJK.
