OJK Set to Integrate Framework on Supervisory Status Determinations and Supervisory Follow-up Measures for Commercial Banks

Following the issuance of Law No. 4 of 2023 on the Development and Strengthening of the Financial Sector (“ Law 4/2023 ”), the Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan– “ OJK ”) is currently in the process of drawing up a new Draft Regulation (“ Draft Regulation ”) that will ultimately address various matters that relate to determinations of supervisory statuses and resolutions of issues that involve commercial banks (“ Banks ”).
