OJK to Readjust Provisions on Ownership Reporting for Shares in Public Companies and to Introduce Reports on Share Guarantee Activities

In order to bring Indonesia into line with international best practices on reports on ownership and reports on changes of ownership of shares in public companies, as well as to accommodate other forms of transactions that were not previously addressed under the existing laws and regulations, the Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan– “ OJK ”) is currently in the process of preparing a new Draft Regulation on Reports on Ownership or Changes in Ownership of Shares in Public Companies and Public Company Share Guarantees (Aktivitas Menjaminkan Saham Perusahaan Terbuka) (“ Draft Regulation ”).
