OJK to Update Periodic Reporting Framework for Sharia Insurance and Reinsurance Companies: Input Open until 20 July 2026

The Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan– “ OJK ”) is currently completing work on a new Draft Regulation (“ Draft Regulation ”) of the Board of Commissioners on the Forms and Structures of the Periodic Reports of Sharia Insurance Companies, Sharia Reinsurance Companies and Sharia Units (collectively referred to as “ Companies ”). If this new framework is ultimately enforced, then the Draft Regulation will ultimately repeal and replace Circular of the OJK No. 10/SEOJK.05/2021 (“ Circular 10/2021 ”), which currently bears the same title as the Draft Regulation.
