Operating in KPBPB Batam? Businesses Now Required to Meet Ground Requirements and Secure Business Permits Directly from BP Batam

In 2021, the government introduced Regulation of the Government No. 41 of 2021 (“ Regulation 41/2021 ”) on the Organization of Free-Trade Zones and Free Ports (Kawasan Perdagangan Bebas dan Pelabuhan Bebas– KPBPB ”). As its title suggests, the framework of Regulation 41/2021 outlined various strategic policies relating to the management and development of KPBPB.
