Optimizing the Administration of Residents: Govt. Issues Provisions on the Registration of Non-Permanent Residents

In an effort to ensure the orderly and efficient administration of residents, determine numbers of non-permanent residents and achieve certain beneficial outcomes in relation to the production of data relating to non-permanent residents, the Minister of Home Affairs (“ Minister ”) has issued Regulation No. 74 of 2022 on the Registration of Non-Permanent Residents (“ Regulation 74/2022 ”). Previously, similar matters were addressed under Regulation of the Minister No. 14 of 2015 (“ Regulation 14/2015 ”), which has now been repealed and replaced. [1]
