The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court has issued Decree No. 108/KMA/SK/VI/2016 on the Organization of Mediation Processes in Courts(“2016 Decree”). The decree sets out further technical procedures for the administration of mediation processes at District and Religious Courts, as mandated by Supreme Court Regulation No. 1 of 2016 on Mediation Procedures in Courts(“Supreme Court Regulation”). [1] In essence, the 2016 Decree aims to increase the success rate of mediation processes in court [2] by regulating the following matters:
