Organization of Risk-Based Business Licensing: Government Set to Introduce New Standards for the Business Activities and Products of Postal, Telecommunications and Electronic Systems and Transactions Services

In line with the mandate set under Regulation of the Government No. 5 of 2021 on the Organization of Risk-Based Business Licensing, the Minister of Communication and Informatics (“ Minister ”) is currently preparing a Draft Regulation that will stipulate the standards that will apply to the various business activities and products of the postal, telecommunications and electronic systems and transactions sectors in relation to the organization of risk-based business licensing (“ Draft Regulation ”). [1] The new regulatory framework is expected to be introduced by 3 June 2021. [2]
