The Government has recently issued GovernmentRegulation No. 7 of 2005(“GR 7/2005”) on the Organizational Structure, Duties, and Functions of the Trademark Appeals Commission to facilitate the implementation of Article 34 of Law No.15 of 2001 on Trademarks (the “Trademark Law”). The Trademark Appeals Commission (the “TAC”) is a specialized independent body within the Department responsible for Intellectual Property Rights.
