
Overseas Placements Made Easier: KUR Loans of Rp. 100 Million with Three-Year Tenures Introduced for Indonesian Migrant Workers
The Minister for the Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers (“ Minister ”)/Indonesian Migrant Workers Protection Agency (Badan Pelindungan Pekerja Migran Indonesia– “ BP2MI ”) recently established a new set of technical guidelines for the disbursement of Community Business Credit (Kredit Usaha Rakyat– “ KUR ”) for placements of Indonesian Migrant Workers (Pekerja Migran Indonesia– “ PMI ”) through the issuance of Regulation No. 18 of 2025 (“ Regulation 18/2025 ”), which has been in force since 29 August 2025.
