P2P Lending Organizers Face Dual Funding Transaction Data Reporting Obligations: Mandatory Data Submission and Request Procedures Due by October 2026

The Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan– “ OJK ”) has issued Regulation No. 8 of 2026 (“ Regulation 8/2026 ”) on the Reporting and Requesting of Funding Transaction Data by Information Technology-Based Joint Funding Service (Layanan Pendanaan bersama Berbasis Teknologi Informasi– “ P2P Lending ”) [1] Organizers (“ Organizers ”). [2] Upon entering into force, Regulation 8/2026 repealed and replaced various provisions on funding transaction data reports, as were originally set out under Regulation of the OJK No. 40 of 2024 , which governed the overall organization of P2P Lending (“ Regulation 40/2024 ”).
