The Minister of Industry (“ Minister ”) has issued Regulation No. 14 of 2026 (“ Regulation 14/2026 ”) on the Amendment (“ Amendment ”) to Regulation of the Minister No. 3 of 2025 (“ Regulation 3/2025 ”) on the Mandatory Implementation of the Indonesian National Standard for Palm Cooking Oil. Broadly speaking, the Amendment has now modified the certification prerequisites and audit frameworks that apply to palm cooking oil industrial companies that engage in operations as producers or repackagers, thereby explicitly expanding the permitted Standard Indonesian Classification of Business Fields (Klasifikasi Baku Lapangan Usaha Indonesia– “ KBLI ”) codes for repackaging companies and replacing the previous filtration facility mandate with a strict storage facility requirement.
