The use of State-Owned Enterprises (Badan Usaha Milik Negara / BUMN) as a means of partial funding and facilitating the development of small enterprises as a means of improving social conditions in the areas where the BUMN and small enterprises exist is mandated under Article 88 ofLaw No 19 of 2003on State-Owned Enterprises. To ensure that these objectives are met the State Minister for State-Owned Enterprises has issued RegulationNo. PER-05/MBU/2007.
