With the ultimate aim of increasing the accuracy of data, as well as accelerating services and customs examinations relating to palm oil and crude palm oil (“ CPO ”) export activities, [1] the Minister of Finance (“ Minister ”) has issued Regulation No. 22/PMK.04/2019 on Export Provisions for Palm Oil, Crude Palm Oil and Their Derivative Products (“ Regulation 22/2019 ”).In essence, Regulation 22/2019 introduces several new provisions relating to the export of palm oil, CPO and their derivative products and these address the following specific matters:
