PNBP Tariffs for Indonesian Domain-Name Management Rights

The Ministry of Communication and Informatics (“Ministry”) has issued Regulation No. 10 of 2017 on Guidelines for the Implementation of Non-Tax State Revenue Tariffs Deriving from Indonesian Domain-Name Management Rights (“Regulation 10/2017”), which is an implementation of the provisions originally set out in Government Regulation No. 80 of 2015 on Types and Tariffs of Applicable Non-Tax State Revenue at the Ministry of Communication and Informatics (“Regulation 80/2015”). [1] Regulation 80/2015 basically required further provisions to be formulated relating to the implementation of tariffs for non-tax state revenue (penerimaan negara bukan pajak-“PNBP”) deriving from Indonesian domain-name management rights (“Management Rights”).With this ultimate goal in mind, Regulation 10/2017 sets out a number of provisions relating to the following areas:
