Law No. 33 of 2014 on Halal Product Guarantee and its amendment (collectively referred to as “ Law 33/2014 ”), as well as Regulation of the Government No. 39 of 2021 on the Organization of Halal Product Guarantees (“ Regulation 39/2021 ”), mandateallgoods and/or servicesrelated to foods, beverages, drugs, cosmetics, chemical products, biological products, and genetically engineered products (“ Products ”) that enter, circulate, and traded within Indonesian territory to be halal certified. [1] However, if said Products are non-halal, [2] they must be marked non-halal. [3]
