President Issues Second Amendment to the Constitutional Court Law

In response to the recent alleged bribery scandal involving Akil Mochtar, the Chief Judge of the Constitutional Court, the President has issued Government Regulation in Lieu of a Law [1] No. 1 of 2013 (“Second Amendment”) as the Second Amendment to Law No. 24 of 2003 (“Constitutional Court Law”) on the Constitutional Court. [2] Prior to this amendment, the Constitutional Court Law was previously amended by Law No. 8 of 2011 (“First Amendment”).
