Private Sector Empowered: Sustainability Action Plans Mandate Direct Business Integration for 2030 Targets

Regulation of the President No. 111 of 2022 (“ Regulation 111/2022 ”) on Implementation of Sustainable Development Goals (Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan- “ TPB ”) sets the legal foundation for Indonesia in achieving its 2024 national TPB targets by establishing National TPB Roadmap, as well as TPB National Action Plans (Rencana Aksi Nasional- “ RAN ”) and Regional Action Plans (Rencana Aksi Daerah- “ RAD ”) for the target achievement implementation basis. Indonesia further sets its TPB target achievement planning, coordination, monitoring, evaluation and reporting procedures through Regulation of the Minister of National Development Planning/Head of the National Development Planning Agency (“ Minister ”) No. 1 of 2024 (“ Regulation 1/2024 ”).
