Procedures for Eight Forms of Customs Notifications for Entries and Releases of Goods to and from Free Trade Areas Introduced

Following the issuance of Regulation of Minister of Finance (“ Minister ”) No. 34/PMK.04/2021 , the Director-General of Customs-and-Excise (“ Director-General ”) has decided to issue Regulation No. PER-22/BC/2023 (“ Regulation 22/2023 ”) on the Governance of Entries and Releases of Goods to and from Areas Established as Free-Trade Zones and Free Ports (collectively referred to as Free Trade Areas – “ FTA ”) Through Goods Transported by Passengers and Transportation Vehicle Crews (collectively referred to as “ Carriers ”), which is set to come into force on 30 January 2024.
