Procedures for Registering Processed Food

In conjunction with the recent ILB No.2222 on obligations to register processed food under the Head of the National Drug and Food Control Agency (Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan– “BPOM”) Regulation No. 42 of 2013 (“BPOM 42/2013”) on amendments to Head of BPOM Regulation No. HK.03.1.5.12.11.09955 of 2011 on the Registration of Processed Food (“BPOM 55/2011”), the Head of BPOM has also updated the regulation relating to the procedures on how to register processed food. This has been  done through the issue of  Head of BPOM Regulation No.43 of 2013 (“BPOM 43/2013”), which amends Head of BPOM Regulation No. HK.03.1.5.12.11.09956 of 2011 on Procedures for Registering Processed Food (“BPOM 56/2011”).
