Procedures for the Granting and Registration of IUP for Certain Conditions Issued

In a bid to ensure greater legal certainty for the holders of Mining Business Licenses (Izin Usaha Pertambangan– “ IUP ”), specifically holders of IUP who are aiming to continue with the licensing procedure based on court decisions or decrees issued by the relevant agencies, the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (“ Minister ”) has issued Decree No. 15.K/HK.02/MEM.B/2022 on the Procedure for IUP Applications and the Issuance of IUP Licenses (“ Decree 15/2022 ”).
