In an effort to improve legal certainty as regards the implementation of customs services and supervision within the export sector, as well as to harmonize provisions that address the supervision of foreign exchange proceeds from exports with provisions that address non-tax state revenue, the Director-General of Customs and Excise (“ Director-General ”) has now issued Regulation No. PER-11/BC/2021 (“ Amendment ”) as an amendment to a number of provisions originally set under Regulation of the Director-General No. PER-03/BC/2020 onthe Procedure for the Imposition, Collection and Deposit of Administrative Sanctions in the Form of Fines for Violations of Provisions on Foreign Exchange Export Proceeds from Activities Relating to the Exploitation, Management and/or Processing of Natural Resources(“ Regulation 3/2020 ”).
