Procedures for the Legal Entity Validation of Limited Liability Companies Simplified

In order to support efforts aimed at further improving Indonesia’s ease-of-doing-business ranking, the Minister of Law and Human Rights (“ Minister ”) has issued Regulation No. 14 of 2020 (“ Second Amendment ”) on the Second Amendment to Regulation of the Minister No. 4 of 2014 on Procedures for the Submission of Applications for the Validation of Legal Entities and Approvals for the Amendment to Articles of Association, as well as Submission of Notifications for the Amendment to Articles of Association and Amendment to Data of Limited Liability Companies (“ Regulation 4/2014 ”) [1] which, in essence, simplifies provisions relating to procedures for the validation of limited liability companies as legal entities.
