Procedures for the Utilization of Foreign Workers Further Regulated

Following the issuance of Regulation of the Government No. 34 of 2021 on the Utilization of Foreign Workers (“ Regulation 34/2021 ”), [1] the Minister of Manpower (“ Minister ”) has now issued Regulation No. 8 of 2021 on the Implementing Regulation to Regulation of the Government No. 34 of 2021 on the Utilization of Foreign Workers (“ Regulation 8/2021 ”). In essence, Regulation 8/2021 elaborates upon various provisions which are originally set out under Regulation 34/2021, and also repeals and replaces the following frameworks which addressed similar matters: [2]
