In an effort to provide effective and efficient legal protections for intellectual property (“ IP ”) rights as we head deeper into the digital era, the Minister of Law (“ Minister ”) has decided to introduce a new enforcement mechanism for the detection, prevention and handling of IP infringements that occur through electronic systems through the issuance of Regulation No. 47 of 2025 on the Handling of Reports of Intellectual Property Rights Infringements Through Electronic Systems (“ Regulation 47/2025 ”), which has been in force since 5 December 2025.
