In an attempt to increase the national energy mix (bauran energi) through the provision of electrical power generated through renewable energy resources, as well as to ensure the availability of electrical power in hard-to-reach areas, the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (“ Minister ”) has issued No. 22 of 2021 on the Provision of Electrical Charging Stations (Stasiun Pengisian Energi Listrik– “ SPEL ”) and Electrical Power Distribution Equipment (Alat Penyalur Daya Listrik– APDAL ”) to Communities in Hard-to-Reach Areas Through Electrical Power Networks (“ Regulation 22/2021 ”).
