The Ministry of Communication and Informatics (“Ministry”) has issued Regulation No. 9 of 2017 on the Operation of Content-Provider Services via Mobile Networks (“Regulation 9/2017”) in order to simplify the provisions which relate to the operation of said services. [1] These services were previously regulated under Ministerial Regulation No. 21 of 2013 on the Operation of Content-Provider Services via Mobile Networks and Wireless Local Fixed Networks with Limited Mobility, as well as through the amendments to this regulation (collectively referred to as “Regulation 21/2013”).
