Law No. 6 of 2011 on Immigration, which was amended by Law No. 11 of 2021 on Job Creation (collectively referred to as “ Law 6/2011 ”), requires certain foreign citizens to have guarantors that take responsibility for their presence and activities during their stays in Indonesia. Said guarantors will also be responsible for reporting any changes to the civil statuses, immigration statuses and addresses of said foreign citizens. [1]
