Provisions on International Halal Product Guarantee Cooperation Introduced

With the overall goal of improving and developing the organization of halal product guarantees (Jaminan Produk Halal– “ JPH ”), the Minister of Religious Affairs (“ Minister ”) recently issued Regulation No. 2 of 2022 (“ Regulation 2/2022 ”), [1] which contains various provisions that specifically address international cooperation in relation to JPH and that set out the forms and implementation of such cooperation.
