In order to ensure improved access to housing for Indonesia’s low-income citizens (Masyarakat Berpenghasilan Rendah– “ MBR ”), the Public Housing Savings Management Agency (Badan Pengelola Tabungan Perumahan Rakyat –“ BP Tapera ”) has issued Regulation No. 9 of 2021 on Financing for the Ownership of Housing Through Mortgage Liquidity Facilities (“ Regulation 9/2021 ”), which sets out detailed guidelines on the implementation of the Prosperity Home Mortgage Financing (Kredit Pemilikan Rumah Sejahtera– “ KPR Sejahtera ”) program, a housing credit/financing program that is funded through the Mortgage Liquidity Facility (Fasilitas Likuiditas Pembiayaan Perumahan– “ FLPP ”) program.
