The Minister of Finance (“ Minister ”) has issued Regulation No. 72 of 2023 on the Depreciation of Tangible Assets and/or Amortization of Intangible Assets (“ Regulation 72/2023 ”), which has been in force since 17 July 2023. Regulation 72/2023 integrates three regulations of the Minister that specifically address the depreciation of tangible assets and the amortization of intangible assets. In addition, it should also be noted that Regulation 72/2023 has now expanded the implementation of depreciation to the tobacco processing industry. The aforementioned three regulations (collectively referred to as “ Previous Regulations ”) have now been replaced and repealed and are listed below:
