As a bit to boost national industrial and trading activities, the Minister of Finance (“ Minister ”) has issued Regulation No. 84/PMK.04/2019 (“ Second Amendment ”) as a second amendment to Regulation of the Minister No. 47/PMK.04/2012 on Management of the Entry and Release of Goods to and from Areas Which Have Been Determined as Free-Trade Areas and Free Ports and Excise Exemptions (“ Regulation 47/2012 ”). [1] In essence, the Second Amendment alters a number of provisions which were originally set under Regulation 47/2012 and which address the following matters:
