The Minister of Trade (“ Minister ”) recently issued Regulation No. 81 of 2019 on Standardization within the Trade Sector (“ Regulation 81/2019 ”), which sets out an updated, improved framework for the standardization of goods and/or services within the Indonesian trade sector. Previously, this framework was set out under the now-repealed Regulation of the Minister No. 24/M-DAG/PER/4/2016 [1] ,which bore the same title and which was amended through the issuance of Regulation of the Minister No. 15 of 2018 (collectively referred to as “ Previous Regulation ”).
