PT KSEI Introduces Mechanisms for the Registration, Storage and Settlement of Structured Warrants

The Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan– “ OJK ) previously issued Regulation No. 8/POJK.04/2021 on Structured Warrants (“ Regulation 8/2021 ”), which introduces the structured warrant (waran terstruktur) as the newest type of investment product offered by PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (“ BEI ”). [1] Now, in order to fully implement the structured warrant as an alternative product that is available through the Indonesian Stock Exchange (“ Exchange ”), BEI has issued Circular No. SE-0002/DIR-EKS/KSEI/0622 on Mechanisms for the Registration, Storage and Settlement of Structured Warrants Through KSEI (“ Circular 2/2022 ”).
