In 2021, the Minister of Law and Human Rights introduced Regulation No. 3 of 2021 on Paralegals and the Provision of Legal Aid (“ Regulation 3/2021 ”). As its title suggests, Regulation 3/2021 outlined the various rights and responsibilities of paralegals that apply during the course of their duties, as well as the various requirements that have to be met by individuals who wish to become paralegals.
