Red and White Cooperatives Now Incorporated into the Ratification Process: Govt. Presents New Initiative to Improve Local Economies

Back in 2019, the Minister of Law and Human Rights (“ Minister ”) introduced Regulation No. 14 of 2019 on the Ratification of Cooperatives (“ Regulation 14/2019 ”). As its title suggests, this framework outlines the ratification process for cooperatives (i.e. validation of their deeds of establishment, amendments of their articles of association and also their dissolution), [1] which should be undertaken electronically via the Legal Entity Administration System (Sistem Administrasi Badan Hukum/SABH).
