In 2024, PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (“ BEI ”) commenced regulating Carbon Exchange service users (“ Users ”) [1] through the issuance of Decree of the Board of Directors No. KEP-00148/BEI/09-2024 (“ Decree 148/2024 ”). Broadly speaking, the framework of Decree 148/2024 outlined the procedure for becoming a User, including eligibility criteria and various other requirements.
