Minister of Agriculture Regulation No. 38/Permentan/OT.140/7/2011 on Registration of Horticultural Plant Varieties (“Regulation”) has been issued to improve the development of horticulture in Indonesia. The Regulation implements Articles 58 (3), 59 (3), and 60 (3) of Law No. 13 of 2010 on Horticulture (“Law 13/2010”), which mandated the issuance of a ministerial regulation on registering new and existing cultivars.
