Registration of Processed Foods Reregulated

The Head of the National Agency for Drug and Food Control (Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan–“BPOM”) has just issued Regulation No. 12 of 2016 on the Registration of Processed Foods(“2016 Regulation”).The 2016 Regulation sets out detailed procedures for producers, importers and distributors of processed foods (“Foods”) who are looking to secure distribution permits from the Head of the BPOM prior to distributing their products throughout Indonesia.
