Revised Business Licensing Framework for the Manpower Sector Unveiled: Broader Business Obligations and Clarified Administrative Sanctions

In 2021, the Minister of Manpower (“ Minister ”) introduced Regulation No. 6 of 2021 on the Stipulation of Standards for Business Activities and/or Products for the Organization of Risk-Based Business Licensing (Perizinan Berusaha Berbasis Risiko– “ PBBR ”) Within the Manpower Sector (“ Regulation 6/2021 ”). [1] As its name suggests, this framework outlined a set of standards for various business activities and/or products within the manpower sector, including standards for businesses that have been classified under the Standard Classification of Indonesian Business Fields (Klasifikasi Baku Lapangan Usaha Indonesia– “ KBLI ”).
