Risk Management Certification for Human Resources of Commercial Banks Updated: Fast-Track Certification Program Introduced

In an effort to establish provisions on work competence certification within the risk management sector for commercial banks’ (“ Banks ”) human resources (“ Certification ”), as originally mandated under the framework of Regulation of the Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan– “ OJK ”) No. 24 of 2022 on the Development of Quality Human Resources by Commercial Banks (“ Regulation 24/2022 ”), [1] the OJK has issued Circular No. 28/SEOJK.03/2022 on Risk Management Certification for the Human Resources of Commercial Banks (“ Circular 28/2022 ”). [2] Circular 28/2022 has been in force since 22 December 2022.
