Minister of Trade Regulation No. 20/M-DAG/PER/7/2011 2011 on the Second Amendment of Ministry of Trade Regulation No. 45/M-DAG/PER/9/2009 on Importer Identification Numbers (“Regulation”) has been issued to improve business certainty, to accelerate business services, and to make activities within the Free Trade and Free Seaport Areas more efficient. The Regulation is also aimed at delegating the importer identification number issuance authority to a private party.
