Securing the Telecommunication Network - Big Brother in Action

There is little doubt and even less dispute that the use of Internet technology and protocols in the telecommunication network has made life easier and quicker. Nevertheless, progress never comes without a price, and in this case, the price is that it has also become easier and quicker for those wanting to do harm. The Minister of Communication and Information has issued RegulationNo. 26/PER/M.KOMINFO/5/2007to ensure that security is maintained and enhanced over this technology. The Regulation in essence means that the anonymity that people had enjoyed online is a thing of the past.
