Six Forms of Ethical Values Introduced for the Use of Artificial Intelligence Technologies

In 2021, the Minister of Communication and Information Technology (“ Minister ”) issued Regulation No. 3 of 2021 on Standards for Business Activities and Products and the Organization of Risk-Based Business Licensing Within the Postal, Telecommunications and Electronic Systems and Transactions Sector (“ Regulation 3/2021 ”). The various types of businesses that are specifically addressed under the framework of Regulation 3/2021 include Artificial Intelligence (“ AI ”) based programming activities, which have been classified as business activities that fall into the Standard Classification of Indonesian Business Fields (Klasifikasi Baku Lapangan Usaha Indonesia– “ KBLI ”) 62015 category.
