Spatial-Planning Consultants Pool Expanded: Five-Year Lead Planner Threshold Now Applies to Preparation of Local Plans

The Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (“ Minister ”) has issued Regulation No. 6 of 2026 (“ Amendment ”) on the Amendment to Regulation of the Minister No. 11 of 2021 (“ Regulation 11/2021 ”) on Procedures for the Preparation, Review, Revision and Issuance of Approvals of the Substances of Spatial Plans for Provinces, Regencies and Cities, as Well as Detailed Spatial Plans (Rencana Detail Tata Ruang– “ RDTR ”). This Amendment has been introduced in order to fast-track the availability of spatial plans and officially came into force on 13 May 2026. [1]
