Special Economic Zones - An Interim Law

The Government is currently drafting a Government Regulation in Lieu of Law on Special Economic Zones (Interim Law). An interim law is used to close any gaps or to fill vacuums in the law until the next session of the House of Representatives (DPR) can ratify or reject the interim law. The basic premise of the draft Interim Law is to facilitate economic growth in specific zones through the creation of more conducive investment practices.
