Standardization, Guidance, and Management - National Industrial Standards

The creation of a conducive investment and business environment is increasingly becoming a primary objective of the Government, and to this end the Minister of Industry has issued RegulationNo. 19/M-IND/PER/5/2006. The main features of this Regulation focus on the: expediting of the establishment of a set of Indonesian National Standards (SNI) and a system of National Standardization (SSN); driving competitiveness; creating a system of healthy business competition; and, guaranteeing consumer protection.
