The Head of the Capital Market Supervisory Agency – Financial Institutions (Bapepam-LK) has released a Draft Rule for discussion and input from interested parties. These inputs and comments can be emailed to either luthfy@bapepam.go.id ormufli@babepam.go.id. However, it is expected that this new rule, IX.A.13 on the Issue of Syariah Securities, will come into immediate effect but the actual reporting and notification requirements contained in the provisions will commence 31 December 2006.
