Technical Guidelines for Determinations of Free Space Around Overhead Line Cables and Bridges Over Bodies of Water Issued: Developments Required to Commence 12 - 24 Months After the Issuance of Recommendations

The Director-General of Sea Transportation (“ Director-General ”) has issued a set of technical guidelines (“ Guidelines ”) for determinations of free space (clearance) around overhead line cables (kabel saluran udara) and bridges over bodies of water (collectively referred to as “ Free Space Determinations ”) as a part of Decree No. KP-DJPL 201 of 2023 (“ Decree 201/2023 ”), which has been in force since 13 March 2023. Decree 201/2023 is being aimed at improving the uniformity and quality of recommendations for said Free Space Determinations. [1]
