The Minister of Industry (“ Minister ”) has finally issued Regulation No. 36 of 2021 on Low Carbon Emission Four-Wheeled Vehicles (“ Regulation 36/2021 ”), which will now serve as the legal framework for the Low Carbon Emission Vehicles (“ LCEV ”) industry and also as the basis for the imposition of Luxury-Goods Sales Tax (Pajak Penjualan atas Barang Mewah– “ PPnBM ”) upon LCEV.
